About The Chef

As a child growing up in Australia my passion for cooking began with helping my mother, a phenomenal cook, in the kitchen.  We often prepared meals using organic vegetables and herbs from our garden.

As I grew older my passion developed leading me to learn about different cuisines.  I fell in love with Thai cuisine. Over the next 8 years I visited Thailand numerous times, where I was then able to understand the nuance of flavors unique to their cuisine.  I then moved on to other cuisines with the same enthusiasm.  I continued to travel internationally which both inspired and enhanced my international repertoire.

My culinary training continued as I began to work in kitchens where I had the opportunity to apprentice with highly skilled international chefs in Australia, U.S. and India.  For a period of 3 ½ years, I worked as a chef for the SYDA foundation, near Mumbai, India.  I managed the kitchens, created menus and led a 6 month training for cooks who had limited experience, to create international gourmet vegetarian meals.  I was then invited to assist in creating menus at the SYDA foundation headquarters in upstate NY.   I worked there for more than 4 years, designing and preparing gourmet vegetarian meals for guests and events.

I am now living in NYC and completely dedicated to serving my clients delicious, healthy meals that support their wellbeing.  I am passionate about cooking for others and focus my efforts on planning meals that are not only creative but well balanced.
